Michelle Wear, D.D.S.

From an early age, Dr. Michelle Wear felt a calling to dentistry. She pursued this passion all the way through dental school at Loma Linda University, where she earned her DDS degree in 1990. She has always believed that great dental care begins with trust, open communication, and a deep understanding of each patient’s unique needs. For Dr. Wear, one of the most rewarding parts of her profession is helping nervous or anxious patients feel genuinely comfortable in the dental chair, often transforming their entire view of dental visits.

Following graduation, Dr. Wear completed a general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Loma Linda, CA. There, she received focused training in hospital-based dentistry and gained valuable experience treating patients with complex medical conditions. Her advanced skills allow her to care for a wide range of individuals with confidence and compassion.

Dr. Wear remains active in her profession through memberships in several respected dental organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), Maryland State Dental Association (MSDA), Frederick County Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).
